If you sign up, we store your email address to tell you when UPTAKE launches and to send occasional news. The legal basis is your consent (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)). You confirm your signup by email, and every email has an unsubscribe link. You can also withdraw consent at any time by writing to us.
We keep your address until you unsubscribe, and delete it then.
The newsletter is sent with Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France), which processes the data on our behalf under a data processing agreement and stores it in the EU. Brevo records whether emails are opened and links are clicked, which we use only to improve the newsletter.
We do not use analytics, advertising trackers or cookies. The site remembers your light/dark choice in your own browser only. To show the page, your browser loads fonts from Google Fonts and code libraries from jsDelivr, which receive your IP address as part of delivering those files. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived server logs for security.
You can ask for access to, correction or deletion of your data, restriction of or objection to its processing, and a copy of it (data portability). Write to privacy@uptakefuel.com. You may also complain to the Norwegian Data Protection Authority, Datatilsynet.
